Bangkok Sunrise Biking Tour

To follow our Bangkok Sunrise tour, you will get to know more about Bangkok. Since before the start of Bangkok where the capital city was still on the other side of the Chao Phraya river at Thonburi, and was known as The City of Treasures Gracing the Ocean or Krung Thonburi Sri Maha Samut, until it became the current city of Bangkok. On this route, you will have a chance to ride through these two cities, Thonburi and current Bangkok, and see the different ways of life of the local people which are opened to you along our interesting and fun journey.

We start from the heart of the old Bangkok area (Rattanakosin) and take a Chao Phraya river ferry with our bikes to the Thonburi side where the Temple of Dawn or Wat Arun, the  3rd capital city before Bangkok was located here. Then ride through the Kudichine community, where there is a mixture of many cultures living together. The Portuguese people also settled here for a period, over 100 years ago, where the Santa Cruse Church (Portuguese Church) can be seen opposite the Yodpiman Riverwalk Pier.

In this community, you will also have a chance to taste the special desert, Farang Kudichin (made in a cup cake style) that is made by the local people. We continue our ride on the cycling path alongside the riverbank and visit some beautiful Royal temples, passing through the Mon Community, originally from Burma, and live now in several provinces in Thailand, and stop for some refreshment at Klongsan Market, one of the local night markets in Bangkok which is also busy during a day, before we get to the pier and then take a ferry back to the Bangkok side.

The next stop will be at the Old Custom House, the colonial-style building which once was used for collecting taxes from boat trading but it has now been converted into a Fire Station. Our route will take us to cycle through the Chinese Community where we will stop to visit the Local Chinese Temple and then cycle along the alleyway to the heart of China town, the street that never sleeps.

The last stop will be at the biggest flower market in Bangkok (Pak Long Talad) which opens for 24 hours! Here the guide will take you to walk around the market where you can see many types of flowers and experience their beautiful fragrance before we ride back to the starting point.
